Meet the Team
Danielle Hiestand, PsyD, LMFT,
EMDR Consultant
Retreat Leader
I have treated clients with a trauma history since 2007. I have taught undergraduate, graduate and continuing education courses since 2010. In the past four years I have seen an increase of therapists in my practice who are struggling with emotional burnout, compassion fatigue and secondary traumatic stress. I wanted to combine my knowledge and experience working in the trauma field with years of teaching by creating a retreat just for mental health providers. A retreat where a clinician could both learn vital personal and professional skills and strategies while also practicing self-care in a tranquil outdoor space. And here it is!
